Advanced Dermaplaning

ABOUT

Dermaplaning is performed on the face, under the chin, and on the sides of the neck. It is quick and painless.

After properly cleansing and prepping the skin, the skin is held taut and a scalpel held at a 45-degree angle is used to gently exfoliate the skin by scraping off the top layer of dead cells. This procedure also removes vellus hair (commonly referred to as peach fuzz). A medical grade hyaluronic acid mask is then applied to leave your skin hydrated and glowing.

Your hair will grow back exactly the same as it came off and you may experience slight skin shedding for the first few days. A slight windburn sensation and/or blotchiness are normal too.

For best results, Dermaplaning treatments are recommended once every 4-6 weeks.

As with all treatments there are risks of complications, therefore a thorough consultation is required prior to treatment so please arrange an appointment at our Hythe clinic to ensure this treatment will be ok for you.
