Eye Rejuvenation
Nurse Rachael has specialized in eye rejuvenation and is trained by the famous eye rejuvenation doctor – Dr Uche, so rest assured you are in competent hands.
Over time, we can develop prominent dark circles, lines and wrinkles, puffy under-eye bags and overhanging eyelids. Even when we are well rested, we can look a bit tired. The good news is that there are a number of procedures, both surgical and non-surgical that can be done to improve the overall appearance of this area.
One option is dermal fillers which can be used to fill the hollow area under the eye which can be the cause of dark circles and loss of firmness resulting in tired looking eyes. This can be due to thinning skin, loss of volume, collagen, and elastin over time.
Patients may be concerned regarding treatments in this delicate area around the eye so rest assured that Nurse Rachael aims to make this procedure as comfortable and safe as possible. Not only is numbing cream available on request but also the brand of dermal filler used (Teosyal Redensity II) contains lidocaine to further numb the area.
This is also currently the only licensed brand for use in the delicate eye area.
Only a small percentage of people are suitable for tear trough filler. Therefore, a great alternative is polynucleotides.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are a new injectable bio revitalisation treatment (DNA based bio stimulators) which promotes skin regeneration and mild volume gain by deeply hydrating and promoting collagen stimulation. The polynucleotides work to moisturize, reduce free radical damage and boost collagen production.
Polynucleotides are an alternative/adjunct to tear trough filler and helps decrease lower eyelid puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles and volume loss. This treatment is safe on all skin types. This treatment can be done in combination with other treatments.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Polynucleotides are injected subdermally into the skin with a cannula in four sessions, four weeks apart. This can be repeated around every six months. There is little discomfort with the treatment but, as with all injections, there is the potential for swelling or bruising.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF POLYNUCLEOTIDES?
Polynucleotides help to deeply improve skin microcirculation, detox and deeply hydrate skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles while helping to firm and tighten the skin through collagen stimulation.
As with all treatments there are risks of complications, therefore a thorough consultation is required prior to treatment so please arrange an appointment at our Hythe clinic to ensure this treatment will be ok for you. Swelling and bruising is to be expected with this treatment therefore, please bear in mind any upcoming events or holidays when booking an appointment with Avery Aesthetics Kent.
