WELCOME TO AVERY AESTHETICS
How It All Started
A STRONG MEDICAL BACKGROUND
My in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy has been developed through my medical background. After becoming a Registered Nurse in 2016 and graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University in Canterbury with a Bsc in Adult Nursing, I gained experience, working in trauma and orthopaedics and on a head and neck ward (maxillofacial) where I gained substantial hands-on skills. I then spent time working in the community as a district nurse going on to become a sister in a GP surgery.
A PASSION FOR LEARNING
In my pursuit to continually offer the most effective and safe treatments, I am always learning by attending regular courses in advanced procedures. What’s more is that, as a medical professional, regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, I have a duty of care to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I’ve gained many complementary qualifications and fine tuned my expertise including completing my master’s in independent and Supplementary Prescribing at Bournemouth University and training with the famous Dr. Uche in eye rejuvenation.
Should an adverse event arise, you can be assured you will be in safe hands as I am trained to deal with complications and adverse events, as well as many years hands on experience in dealing with emergencies in a medical setting. I am also a member of the Aesthetics Complications Experts Group & The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. Being a member of BACN (British Association of Cosmetic Nurses) means that I am a professionally trained, well-qualified and skilled aesthetic nurse.
IMPROVING YOUR CONFIDENCE
I have a strong ethos that less is more, and I aim to provide natural looking results for all my clients, instilling confidence in their appearance, and to be comfortable in their own skin. I have personally experienced how many of the treatments I offer have helped improve my confidence and self-esteem and I am confident they can help you too. When a client achieves their goal of feeling and looking good, I get a great sense of fulfillment.
Achieving your desired results is a journey and I encourage my patients to build up their look safely and gradually, not only to avoid risks of complications but to also maintain a natural appearance. I am very privileged to have earned the trust of several nurses, doctors and professional women and men as my patients, and they have been delighted with the outcome of their treatments.

How It All Started
A BIT ABOUT MY BACKGROUND
My journey in beauty began straight out of school, and I’ve been obsessed ever since! I earned my NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy and a BTEC National Diploma in Applied Science/Beauty Therapy.
After college, I honed my skills at the spa in Living Well, Ashford (now Bannatynes), eventually becoming the salon manager. With years of experience under my belt, I took the leap and started my own successful business 19 years ago – many of you wonderful clients have been with me ever since!
A PASSION FOR LEARNING
My desire to share my knowledge led me to pursue a teaching degree in 2010. I spent three rewarding years teaching beauty at the Folkestone Academy, even obtaining my assessor’s award. However, family commitments called, and I decided to focus solely on my business.
Over the years, I’ve expanded my offerings by continually training in new techniques like semi-permanent makeup. I’ve also delved into dermaplaning, microneedling, mesotherapy, lash lifts, and henna brows.
WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME
My top priority is providing you with the absolute best, most professional treatments possible. A positive and comfortable client experience is at the heart of everything I do. I’m excited to help you create a look you’ll love!
