Anti-Wrinkle Treatment / Botulinum Toxin

Wrinkle relaxing injections – also known as ‘Botox®’ are a prescription only medication used to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is in fact the most popular non-surgical facial aesthetics treatment in the world. It acts by blocking the nerve signals that cause the muscles to contract therefore stopping the movement and the formation of lines and wrinkles. It has also been used for years to treat medical conditions such as the effects of a stroke, cerebral palsy, and chronic migraines.

Anti-wrinkle injections, such as Botox®, can be commonly used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, including: the forehead, crow’s feet (lines around the eyes), smoker’s lines (lines around the mouth) and frown lines to name a few. Botox is a very safe, effective and virtually pain free procedure with little or no down time. Full results can be seen within a couple of weeks lasting 3-6 months, depending on the client.

As with all treatments there are risks of complications, therefore a thorough consultation is required prior to treatment so please arrange an appointment at our Hythe clinic to ensure this treatment will be ok for you.
